Meet Coach Pete
Hi, I'm Pete Mitchell, owner of Maser Pete's Martial Arts Academy in Plano. I learned to fight growing up on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and that experience sparked a lifelong love of martial arts.
Today, my greatest joy is helping kids take their training to the next level and become bully-proof, confident, and strong both in and out of the academy.
Outside of teaching, I'm a family man through and through. You'll usually find me mowing the yard, enjoying Texas barbecue, geeking out over Star Wars, or adding to my suppressor collection.
I left California behind for Texas, and I've never looked back - this is home now, for my family and for our school.
